From Vigo east through León, into the Picos de Europa, around the alpine passes, down to the Cantabrian coast, back along the Atlantic. Tight twisties, snow-capped peaks in summer, the best fish stew in Spain.

The long one. Vigo to Salamanca to the Sierra de Gredos, down through Extremadura, into the white villages of Andalusia, finishing on the Mediterranean. Three climates, four landscapes, one country.
