Why this bike for Iberia
Iberia rewards a bike that can do everything. Los Picos pass you ride in the morning is a fast, sweeping tarmac road. The Galician backroad you take after lunch is loose gravel between stone walls. The Alentejo plain at sunset is 200 km of flat, fast asphalt with no town in sight. The Ténéré 700 was made for exactly this kind of day.
Light enough (205 kg) to flick through hairpins, with 21″ / 18″ spoked wheels and 210 mm of long-travel suspension for whatever the road turns into. The 689 cc parallel twin pulls hard from 4,000 rpm — the kind of midrange that lets you overtake a tractor without thinking — and sips fuel between fill-ups. The seat height suits riders 5’8″ and up; if you’re shorter, we lower it.
